| Vacation Times July 1 - August 1 closed open for emergency needs Aug. 1 - Sept. 1 November 22 - November 29 closed December 20 - January 4 closed emergencies only from Nov 29 - Dec. 19 NOTE: During closed dates, new submissions will not be evaluated. 4RV will begin to honor vacation times so that staff can finish projects for promotions and have family time as needed. |
| Tweens, Teens, Novels, and Nonfiction OPEN for consideration for publication in late 2014 or early 2015. (manuscripts accepted would have a tentative release date of 2014 or 2015) Be sure to follow Submission Guidelines carefully. Note: submissions, including those from management and staff, are sent to acquisition editors anonymously. Even the president had a submission rejected because her manuscript wasn't well-written enough. |
